Frank's maternal grandmother, Kate Creevy, lived in Brunswick Gardens ( after moving there from Everton).
In 1949 she purchased an Irish Lottery ticket ( at 2/6d per week for 4 weeks)
When "Russian Hero" won the 1949 Grand National, she was a
 £25,000-00 winner ( buying a house at 7 Nook Rise in Wavertree Garden Suburb with some of the winnings)

Kate is the C A Creevy mentioned on the receipt below for 54 Micawber Street having loaned the money to Frank's parents who later sold the house and moved to Nook Rise themselves
