John must have sent this home and under censorship has written 'somewhere in Italy' January 1944.
There are no names on this - John Currie is back row third from left.

taken in Aquila September 1945 at the Aquila stadium where the army held a donkey derby - the chap on the donkey wearing the cap is not from Liverpool, he was an American soldier - William J. Everette from 1042E. Chelten Avenue Phila, 38 Penna USA.
