On Wednesday the first inst awfully sudden Mr William WOODS gardener of Kirkby aged 53 . He had been taking a walk in his garden in company with a medical gentleman, who observed he did not look well and advised his returning to the house, with which he complied and sat himself down in the armchair and immediately expired.

On Saturday evening very suddenly J TABEY head Ostler at the Angel Inn, a man in the bloom of his life and apparently in good health: he had just partook of a hearty meal for his supper, and had not proceeded many yards from the entrance of the Inn when he dropped down and instantaneously expired! He was a man who in his situation for many years, gave general satisfaction and was much esteemed. He has left a wife and three small children to lament their sudden loss
