At Liskard in the 102nd year of his age,, Mr TREMAYNE. Within a year of his death he fetched water from the well for his own use

 

At Butterton Staffordshire, aged 105 Mrs Ellen WARDLE, she could knit, read and sew to the last

Same day at Ribton Hall Cumberland, in her 59th year Mary, relict of Captain Thomas DODGSON

 

Same day at his house, Eldon place, aged 71, Mr John GILLIBRAND. Endowed by nature with a mind of more than ordinary capacity, which he cultivated by incessant  and well-ordered study. Mr GILLIBRAND had attained a high degree of proficiency in various branches of natural and moral science. To intellectual excellence was in him conjoined the surpassing excellence of the heart, and his universal and sincere philanthropy and amiability of manner rendered him dear to all who knew him

Same day, in Barrett’s court,  Wigmore street London aged 111, a woman of the name BARBER. It is said that she walked on foot from Liverpool to London in 19 days, despite being at the time upwards of 100 years old
