Lately in Lincolnshire, Corporal DUPRE to Miss N TROLLOPE, with a fortune of £12,000- Miss T fell in love with him when he was on parade with the soldiers, the next morning she communicated her sentiments to him which he joyfully accepted and on the following day he led her to the alter of Hymen.

On Tuesday last Mr George FRANCE Butcher to Miss PLATT both of this town-

The same day Mr Peter MARROW, merchant to Eliza, eldest daughter of Mr Wm. WILLIAMSON, of this town

On Wednesday last , Mr Jos, McVICCAR merchant to Miss HEYWOOD daughter of Francis HAYWOOD Esq St Anne street

Yesterday at the Friends Meeting House, in this town Thomas WOOD, grocer to Mary LAYCOCK, Dale street

On Monday last Mr John COATES, printer of this town to Miss Elizabeth DARWOOD of Workington

On Tuesday the 7th inst at Liscord Cheshire, Mr John DEAN farmer aged 83

On the 9th inst. aged 55 Mr Ed DISLEY of the Hope and Anchor James street

On Friday last Mr Wm BURGESS Sparling street aged 75

On Saturday last aged 56 Mrs ALLEN Greenland street

On Sunday last in Brownlow street Mrs Francis O'NEILL, Merchant aged 65 yrs

Same day in the 21st year of his age Mr Matthew HARRIS jun, son of Mr HARRIS of the Talbot Hotel Same day Mrs Margaret SCARISBRICK aged 17 youngest daughter of Mr John SCARISBRICK Peter's Lane late of Prescot.


Coroners Inquests

On the 9th inst a coroners inquest was held on the body of Hugh FAGAN who was killed by falling into No 1 Graving Dock Same day body of Mary CHRISTOPHER a girl about 4 yrs old who was burnt to death and on Friday the body of Griffith GRIFFITHS who was hurt on board a flat Verdicts accidental deaths
