On Thursday the 28th ult. At Heversham Church near Kendal, Richard TETLEY Esq., of this town to Sarah, only daughter of Thomas WILKINSON, Esq. of Hyneing Cottage Westmoreland

 

On Tuesday last at St Phillip’s Church, Mr John FLETCHER broker, to Sarah, eldest daughter of Mr Eli JAGGER

 

DIED

 

On the 15th December last, at Montego Bay, Mr John Jonston GRANT, AGED 24, CHIEF MATE OF THE BRIG Sophia, of this port

 

On Monday the 18th ult. Near Ormskirk Margaret CHUE, aged 102 years

 

On Sunday the 24th ult., Diana, aged 9 years, the youngest daughter of Mr James VICKERS, Hunter-street

 

Last week, at Old Sodbury, Thomas TANNER, aged 83; he led a most penurious life, living principally on potatoes and sleeping always in a tallet. He left £1200 between his wife and daughter, and a weekly allowance to his brother

 

On Wednesday, the 27th ult. Aged 18, Jane, second daughter of Mr Robert MAKIN, Crosby

 

On Thursday, the 28th ult. Aged 25, Miss Mary BERRY, eldest daughter of the late Mr John BERRY, bookbinder of this town

 

On Friday last, Mrs NUTTALL, wife of Mr James NUTTALL, victualler Old Dock

 

On Saturday last, at her residence in St Anne-street, aged 89, Amelia, relict of Thomas PEPPER THOMPSON, Esq. late of the land of Jamaica

 

Same day after a long illness, Mr James FRANCOM, fishmonger

 

On Monday last, at his house at Low-hill, aged 67, Mr Peter PAINTER, He lived in the family of the late Thomas CARTER Esq. 45 years.

 

On Wednesday last, aged 30 years, Mr William CULSHAW Thomas-street
