On Saturday the 12th instant at Whitehaven, aged 59, Captain Thomas BARWISE, late of he ship Cumberland, of this port

 

On Sunday the 13th instant, Anne JAMES, aged 75 years, wife of Francis JAMES, doorkeeper at the Workhouse

On Tuesday, the 15th instant, in her 21st year of ag, deeply and deservedly regretted by her relatives and friends, Mary, the eldest daughter of Mr WILSON, Bolton-le-Moors, schoolmaster

 

On Wednesday the 16th instant, in her 19th year of age, Eleanor Davies MADDOCK, hird daughter of the late Mr T MADDOCK, of this town,, after a long and painful illness

 

On Wednesday, the 16h instant, at Whittington, near Chesterfield, Joseph DAVENPORT, Esq. of Hamburg, to Caroline, third daughter of Daniel HOLY Esq. of Sheffield (this was obviously in the wrong column, should have been in ‘married’ column)
