On Sunday the 7th instant, at St Paul’s Church, Mr James KENDRICK, cabinet maker, to Miss Betsey SMITH

 

On Thursday, the 11th inst. At St Anne’s Church, Mr George Henry HOWELL to Miss MARSHALL, only daughter of Mr MARSHALL, Colquitt-street

 

DEATHS

 

On Monday the 8th instant, aged 36, Anne, wife of Mr Thos WILLIAMS, watch-maker, Clayton-street

 

After a long indisposition, at the house of Mr Robert THOMPSON, St Anne-street, Mr Anthony SLATER, a native of Bristol, and who had resided about 30 years in the island of Jamaica

 

On Tuesday the 9th instant, aged 27 years, Mr Robert BLACK, Paradise-street

 

On Wednesday the 10th instant at Childwall Abbey, near this town, Mrs Francis BLUNDELL, aged 62

 

Same day, Mrs Elizabeth HOUGHTON, aged 75 years, relict of the late Mr Richard HOUGHTON, Kirkdale

 

On Thursday, the 11th instant, aged 47 years, Mr Richard WILKINSON, keeper of the Corn Exchange

 

On Friday last, at his home in Portland-place, London, aged 76 years, Sir N. CONANT

 

On Saturday last, Messrs DODGSON and WILSON, boot and shoe makers, Lord-street, the former in the 49th year of his age leaving a wife and four children; the latter in his 44th year, leaving three orphan children. What renders their deaths truly deplorable is, they took ill on the same day, and after a week’s severe indisposition, they departed nearly at the same moment The disease of which they died was the typhus fever, which it is supposed they had caught from the shop-boy whose mother had died a few days before of the same disorder. The boy was taken ill and died on the same morning in the Fever-ward

 

Same day suddenly at Speke, Mrs Catherine CORRAN late of this town in the 24th year of her age

 

On Sunday last, aged 78 years, Dorothy, wife of Mr Joseph JACKSON, Lydia Ann-street
